Sega has outdone themselves with yet another sonic game. This time for the 25th anniversary they designed the game to look like the original Sonic from the Sega Genesis. The nostalgia is amazing, being able to play an old retro themed game with a fun story, colorful artwork and lively soundtrack really encapsulates the earlier memories of Sonic the Hedgehog. For 20 dollars this game is a steal and pure gold. They have also incorporated a Co-op option so you and a friend can take off full force to protect the world!
Get ready to embark on a journey as three friends give it their all to foil the plans of the vile Doctor Eggman and his flunkies once again! In Sonic Mania you can play as Sonic, Knuckles or Tails, the original trio has returned and they are ready to kick some butt! Doctor Eggman, Sonics arch nemesis, has returned and he will stop at nothing to take over the world. Sonic Mania picks up after Knuckles and Sonic save Angel island from peril. Some time after, Sonic and Tails receive an odd signal coming from Angel island and return to investigate. Upon arrival they spot Doctor Eggmans heavies who have already claimed the source of the signal, a mysterious gemstone known as the Phantom Ruby. The heavies acquire new abilities from this mystical ruby and send Sonic, Knuckles and Tails back into the past. The three must travel through new and familiar locations in order to prevent Eggman from using the Phantom ruby on the world.
Get ready to take off and explore old and new worlds in this beautiful, action packed adventure! Its time to take back the Phantom ruby and prevent Eggman from having his way! Punch, fly and run to the present in order to stop Eggman in his tracks. Sonic Mania is now available for the Nintendo switch and will be available for PC and consoles on August 29th.
